Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has reacted to his team’s UEFA Champions League qualifier against Switzerland Super League side FC Servette on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old Ghana attacker and his team KRC Genk, a Belgium Jupiler Pro League giant, threw away a one goal advantage to draw 1-1 away from home in the first leg of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
“1st leg done, eyes on the second leg. Thanks to our traveling fans for the support last night in Switzerland,” wrote Paintsil on Twitter.
The 25-year-old made a 30-goal contribution in total in all competitions for the Blue and Whites outfit who were only denied the league title on the final day by Christopher Scott’s Royal Antwerp FC.
