Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has today Saturday 26th August, 2023 passed his medical test ahead of his move to English Premier League side West Ham United, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The 23-year-old attacker has been on their radar for a while now and the Hammers have finally struck a deal with the Dutch club.

With all parties in agreement over a transfer in the ongoing window. The Ghana international has finally completed his medical before penning down a five-year deal with the English club. His contract will have an option to extend his stay by another 12 months.

Ajax have retained a 10% sell-on clause as the Hammers are all set to pay €44.5 million for the 23-year-old who has been on fire over the last 18 months. There will be an initial payment of €41.5 million and another €3 million in add-ons

Kudus has gone from strength to strength since joining the Dutch club from Nordsjaelland back in 2020. The 23-year-old has been used in different positions over the years and he has succeeded in almost every role.

While he has been an attacking midfielder for the majority of the part, the Ghana international has been used as a winger and striker of late. And, his performances have been exceptional since moving into more attacking roles.

Last season he featured in a total of 42 matches and had 25 goal contributions. He found the back of the net 18 times. The 23-year-old has carried his form into the new season. He has been involved in three matches so far and has five goal contributions.

Kudus recently bagged a hat-trick against Ludogorets in the Europa League qualifier. He is an exceptional talent who has been in sensational form and his arrival will surely bolster West Ham’s attack. The Hammers didn’t have the best of times in the league last season and his arrival will surely help them put up a better fight,

The Ghana international will add goals as well as a lot of creativity. Both clubs have already done business in the ongoing window with Edson Alvarez joining West Ham for €40 million. And, with all details sorted and medical scheduled, another one is all set to be completed.
