This collaboration grants Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies the esteemed status of being Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s designated women’s football team, thereby satisfying the requisites for club licensing.
Kumasi Sports Academy has made an impressive return to the upper echelons of women’s football after being relegated last two seasons. Their resurgence was achieved through a stellar performance in the playoffs of the Northern Zone.
Finishing as deserving runners-up, narrowly trailing behind Fosu Royal Ladies based in Techiman, Kumasi Sports Academy secured a coveted spot in the forthcoming Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for the upcoming season.
