Ghana international Inaki Williams anticipates a challenging season for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga after his team suffered a heavy defeat in the Basque derby.
Williams, the Black Stars attacker, played the full match as his team suffered a 3-0 loss away to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
The hosts took the lead through Robin Le Normand in the 30th minute, and Sociedad went into halftime with the advantage. Japanese international Takefusa Kubo wasted no time, scoring three minutes into the second half to double Sociedad’s lead, and Mikel Oyarzabal sealed the win for the home team.
