Bechem United’s head coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah, openly expressed his dissatisfaction with his team’s underwhelming start to the season.
While it’s still early in the season, Kobi-Mensah has been unable to win over the Bechem United supporters since taking over from Kassim Mingle.
The team, often referred to as “The Hunters,” has managed to secure just one victory out of the five games they’ve played so far. They’ve also registered one draw and suffered three losses, which has led to them occupying the bottom spot in the league standings with 4 points.
Kobi-Mensah made it clear that the disappointment isn’t limited to just the fans; he, along with the club president, shares the dissatisfaction with the team’s results.
He explained, “The truth is that I am not happy. The president is not happy. The supporters are not happy. That is true because we are not getting the results. And looking at their performance last season, the truth is that the expectation was high.”
Bechem United is scheduled to face Berekum Chelsea in their next game on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
