Former Asante Kotoko striker Stephen Manu is skeptical about Nations FC’s chances of securing maximum points against the Porcupine Warriors.
The Premier League newcomers are set to host the Ghanaian giants at the Dr. Kwame Sports Complex on Sunday in the sixth week of the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko have recently found their form, rebounding after failing to win any of their first three games in the Ghana Premier League. The record league champions recorded back-to-back victories, defeating Accra Lions 1-0 and Aduana Stars 1-0, with Kalo Ouattara and Richmond Lamptey playing pivotal roles.
Manu commented, “It’s going to be a tough match, but at the end of the day, it’s either Kotoko secures victory or shares the spoils. There’s no way Nations FC can beat Kotoko; their best result will be a draw,” in an interview with Kessben FM.
Kotoko currently sit in 5th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 8 points from five games into the campaign.
