Record champions of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko have reportedly expressed interests in signing Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew.
Andre Dede Ayew is currently a free agent after the expiration of his one-year contract with English Premier League side, Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2022/2023 football season.
According to reports in the media space, the Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko need a high profile player and they are considering bringing in the veteran to feature in the Ghana Premier League.
However, former Asante Kotoko Communications Director, Obed Acheampong while working on Kumasi-based Silver FM said nobody within the club has placed a call to Andre Ayew or his entourage.
He urged the public to disregard the reports as the Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko are only interested in building for the future.
