Coach Nora Hauptle is unwavering in her determination as the Black Queens of Ghana gear up for the first leg of the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final round qualifier against Namibia.

Seeking a strong comeback after missing the last tournament, the Black Queens, under Hauptle’s leadership, aim to make the second leg in Namibia a formality by securing a decisive victory.

Hauptle, emphasizing the team’s focus on winning, highlighted their readiness after a week of solid training.

With nine consecutive wins and no goals conceded under Hauptle, Ghana enters the match as a formidable force.

The coach prioritizes victory and is less concerned about playing flashy football, emphasizing the team’s determination to fulfill their mission in the first leg against Namibia.

“We have had a good training this week and we have all the players fresh and ready. We are looking forward to putting a good performance on the pitch tomorrow. It’s about winning and bringing the result. We are fully determined to fulfil our job in the first leg against Namibia,” said Hauptle.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled for Friday, December 1, at the Accra Sports Stadium, kicking off at 3:30 pm.
