England-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Kobbie Mainoo, expressed sheer delight on Thursday night after scoring a late winner for Manchester United in a thrilling 4-3 victory against Wolves in the English Premier League.

In a post-match interview, the young sensation described the moment as a dream come true, marking his first goal in the Premier League for his beloved club.

Mainoo expressed his disbelief, stating, “It’s a dream come true. I still think I’m dreaming, to be honest. To play in the Premier League for my boyhood club, it’s been amazing.”

The game saw Marcus Rashford giving Manchester United an early lead with a 5th-minute strike, followed by Rasmus Højlund doubling the advantage in the 22nd minute.

Despite a goal from Wolves’ Pablo Sarabia in the 71st minute, Scott McTominay extended Manchester United’s lead four minutes later.

Two late goals from Wolves set the stage for a dramatic finish, ultimately sealed by Kobbie Mainoo’s injury-time strike, securing all three points for the Red Devils.
