“We can never blame one man for the problems of Ghana football and the Black Stars” – Elvis Herman Hesse

We can’t just blame one man for Ghana’s problems in football but we can blame one man for Ghana’s problem in economics.

After the ‘Save Ghana Football’ demonstration, some of the reactions are mind-blowing as it seems some people are happy with the state of the country’s football.

“From where I sit, I see that Kurt Okraku and the FA are fixing the fundamentals,” said Herman Hesse.

What are the fundamentals of football? Infrastructure and training of young footballers are probably the main fundamentals of football.

Where are the infrastructures in Ghana? The issue of pitches has been discussed for almost 5 years but no one is willing to address it.

Is the Right To Dream Academy Ghana’s bonafide property? No!

Then Kurt and his administration are simply not fixing the fundamentals of football in this country.

In the FA Cup Round 16 fixture between Karela and Asante Kotoko in Tamale at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium,  the whole world saw how terrible Ghana is.

“We can never blame one man for the problems of Ghana football and the Black Stars.” – Elvis Herman Hesse, the Chairman of Hearts of Oak’s National Supporters Group and a member of the National Futsal team management committee.

Kwesi Nyantakyi was blamed for every nasty thing that happened during his tenure hence Kurt Okraku and his administration must 100% accept the blame as everything rises and falls on leadership.

Issues of bribery, corruption, nepotism and kickbacks have all been raised during this current GFA administration.

The ‘Save Ghana Football’ was not done because the demonstrators hate Kurt but rather because they want to see massive changes in their football as Ghana’s national teams and clubs are at their lowest point ever.
