Expressing the significance of the match, Parker emphasized the importance of securing a win over Al Ahly, highlighting the club’s past achievements as a source of inspiration. He recalled Medeama’s triumph against TP Mazembe in 2015 and expressed confidence in their ability to replicate such success.
“While I refrain from making outright predictions, I assure you that we are fully committed to seeking victory through positive means,” stated Parker. “We rely on the unwavering support of all Ghanaians as we aim to stun the nation by defeating Al Ahly and securing qualification in Algeria.”
Parker’s commitment to motivating his players is evident as he hinted at a substantial reward package awaiting them should they triumph on Friday. Though he chose not to disclose the specifics of the bonus, Parker hinted that it exceeds the proposed incentives for the Black Stars by the Football Association.
