Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito is bracing for a challenging encounter as his team prepares to take on Hearts of Oak in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
Originally slated to be held at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu, the eagerly awaited fixture has been relocated to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi due to ongoing renovations at the Dawu venue.
Despite the change in venue, Zito remains focused on the task at hand, acknowledging the formidable challenge posed by their opponents while expressing regret over not being able to host Hearts of Oak on their home turf.
Reflecting on the condition of the Dawu stadium pitch, Zito voiced his disappointment, highlighting the need for better maintenance practices.
“It will be a tough game but it just unfortunate we won’t be able to play on home turf (Dawu) because of the state of the pitch now. The state of the Dawu stadium is not good at all and I think those in charge of the field did not do a good” he said
Currently occupying the 11th position on the league table with 25 points, Dreams FC aims to capitalize on their home advantage at the Baba Yara Stadium to secure a positive result against Hearts of Oak.
