Abdul Bashiru, assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, has leveled accusations against Moses Armah Parker, the bankroller of Medeama SC, alleging manipulation of referees in favor of the Mauve and Yellow during their recent match.

Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-0 defeat against Medeama SC at the Akoon Park on Wednesday, April 11th, marking their third consecutive loss to the opponent.

Following the defeat, Abdul Bashiru, visibly frustrated, expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcome and raised concerns about the conduct of Medeama’s bankroller.

“There is something that I want to say, what happened in the first half, the GFA must look into it,” Bashiru stated in an interview with StarTimes.

“How can a bankroller after the first half will go into the referees’ dressing room? Come and see what happened there, the intimidation and all that, it’s not fair, for me this is not football,” he added.

Bashiru further emphasized his belief that the actions of Medeama’s bankroller influenced the refereeing decisions, leading to an unfavorable outcome for Hearts of Oak.

“You can see, the referee completely changed in the second half,” Bashiru continued, suggesting a perceived shift in the officiating during the match.

With the loss, Hearts of Oak now sits in 11th place on the league table with 32 points, trailing their rivals Kotoko by one point after 25 matches.
