FC Samartex winger Evans Osei Wusu, Hamza Issah of Accra Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC’s Emmanuel Agyei have been named in Laryea Kingston’s Premier League Team of the Week for Matchday 26. The trio were simply amazing for their clubs in the top tier competition over the weekend.

Evans Osei Wusu who was recently crowned NASCO player of the month for February/March, scored a brace for FC Samartex in their 3-2 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex at Sameraboi. The diminutive attacker has scored 10 goals for FC Samartex in the ongoing campaign following his free transfer from Tema Youth last season.

Another player who made the headlines on Matchday 26 is Accra Hearts of Oak forward Hamza Issah. The attacker netted twice against Karela United in a 3-1 win as he leveled matters for the Phobians in the 28th minute before putting the icing on the cake in the 91st minute.

Emmanuel Agyei of Dreams FC also earned a spot in the side after his superlative performance ensured that the Still Believe lads grab all the points against Asante Kotoko at the Theatre of Dreams.

Also making the list are Accra Lions duo Andrews Owusu and Shawkan Mohammed, Kofi Asmah of Medeama SC and teenager Forster Apetorgbor of Nsoatreman FC.

Laryea Kingston is a former Ghanaian player who won 41 caps and scored 6 goals in an international career that spanned 14-years. The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics player is the current coach of the Black Starlets.
