Negotiations are nearing the end for the New England Revolution to bring Ghanaian defensive midfielder Baba Iddrisu to their team, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

Currently playing for La Liga club Almeria, Iddrisu is also a member of the Ghana national team and played at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

The potential signing of Iddrisu is generating excitement among Revolution fans. Known for his defensive prowess and ability to control the midfield, he could be a valuable addition to the team.

Iddrisu’s experience playing in La Liga, one of the top leagues in the world, speaks to his skill and adaptability on the field. His presence could provide stability to the Revolution’s midfield and strengthen their overall defensive strategy.

As a Ghana international, Iddrisu brings not only talent but also a wealth of international experience to the Revolution. His familiarity with high-pressure situations and different styles of play could be invaluable, especially in crucial moments of the game.

If the negotiations are successful, Iddrisu would join a growing contingent of Ghanaian players making their mark in Major League Soccer. His arrival would not only bolster the Revolution’s lineup but also further diversify and enrich the league’s talent pool.

Revolution fans eagerly await the official announcement, hopeful that Baba Iddrisu’s arrival will mark the beginning of a successful new chapter for their team.
