Hearts of Oak are in advanced talks with former goalkeeper Eben Dida Armah to join the club as goalkeepers’ coach ahead of the new season, in a bid to address their persistent goalkeeping issues.
The appointment comes in response to the team’s struggles in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign, where they faced significant problems in the goalkeeping department.
Throughout the season, Hearts of Oak’s shot-stoppers made critical errors that heavily impacted the team’s performance.
To rectify this situation, the club has turned to their legendary former goalkeeper Dida Armah, who is renowned for his exceptional reflexes and shot-stopping abilities during his playing days.
Since retiring from professional football, Dida Armah has transitioned into coaching and has earned recognition for his ability to mentor and develop young goalkeepers. His return to Hearts of Oak is expected to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the club, as well as rejuvenate their goalkeeping setup.
The appointment of Dida Armah is seen as a significant coup for Hearts of Oak, who are being proactive in strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
The club’s management believes that his expertise will lead to substantial improvements in their goalkeeping performances and help the team achieve greater success in the future.
