Hearts of Oak’s highly-rated midfielder, Glid Otanga, has completed a loan move to Qatari side Al Kharaitiyat SC ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The 22-year-old Congolese midfielder has signed with the newly promoted club, expected to bolster their squad for a successful season in the top-flight league.
Otanga’s impressive performances since joining Hearts of Oak in 2022 have drawn the attention of Al Kharaitiyat SC, with his standout displays in the Ghana Premier League and his role in helping the team win the FA Cup earning him this new opportunity.
Prior to joining Hearts of Oak, Otanga played for Akonangui FC in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon’s Coton Sport FC de Garoua, experiences that have prepared him for this significant step in his career.
