Highly-rated defender Vincent Atingah has agreed to extend his stay with Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Gold Stars, signing a new two-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2026.
The former Hearts of Oak centre-back’s impressive performance for the team in the 2023/24 football season earned him the contract extension deal, according to the club.
Bibiani Gold Stars announced the news on Wednesday, praising Atingah for his crucial role in the team’s survival last season.
“Atingah and Bibiani GoldStars SC have reached an agreement to EXTEND his contract,” the club said in an official post on X. “He was instrumental in our survival last season and now Defender Vincent Atinga has penned a two-year contract with the club.”
The 30-year-old has established himself as a top defender in Ghana over the last few years, having been a key player for Medeama SC when the team lifted its maiden Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago.
