Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu has reflected on the past season, describing it as the worst of his career after making only four appearances due to persistent injuries.
The 27-year-old, who played just four Bundesliga matches last season, was sidelined despite his significant contributions in the previous season. Manu had scored seven goals and provided seven assists, helping Darmstadt secure promotion to the German top flight.
Expressing his disappointment, Manu told Flashscore, “I was really sad that the season ended that way because it was the first time we went up with Darmstadt to play in the Bundesliga. I did my part to be there, and the injuries got me, so I didn’t play that much.”
Reflecting on the experience, he added, “I just played four games, so far as a footballer, it was the worst part of my career, but as a human being, I grew a lot because I get much more comfortable, much deeper with my faith.”
