Francis Amuzu played a key role in Anderlecht’s 3-1 win over Mechelen on matchday four of the Belgian Pro League.
Amuzu found the back of the net for the first time this season, giving Anderlecht a 2-1 lead after Lion Lauberbach had initially put Mechelen ahead.
Ludwig Augustinsson leveled the score for Anderlecht before Amuzu’s second goal shifted the momentum firmly in their favor. Théo Leoni later added another goal to ensure the win.
Majeed Ashimeru, though named in the squad, did not make an appearance for Anderlecht during the match.
