Black Stars captain Mohammed Kudus has reassured Ghanaians of the players’ commitment to tirelessly restoring the national team to its former glory.
This assurance comes in a letter apologizing for the lackluster performances during the doubleheader against Sudan in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
In the letter, Kudus stated, “We want to assure Ghanaians that we are committed to learning from our mistakes, regrouping, and working tirelessly to restore the Black Stars to our former glory. We value the unwavering support and loyalty you’ve shown us, and we’re determined to make you proud once again.”
The new captain also urged fans to continue supporting the team during this challenging time. “Your encouragement and faith in us will fuel our determination to succeed. We will not give up. We look forward to redeeming ourselves in the upcoming matches,” Kudus emphasized in his message.
