Greenville Triumph SC has announced the signing of experienced Ghanaian striker Ropapa Mensah for the 2025 season, pending league and federation approval.

At 27, Mensah brings a wealth of experience and a reputation as a clinical forward, having spent a decade in professional soccer across multiple leagues.

His career includes successful spells with USL Championship sides Sporting Kansas City II and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, as well as a stint in the Egyptian Premier League with Port Fouad SC.

Most recently, Mensah showcased his attacking prowess with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One, where he scored an impressive 21 goals across two seasons. Known for his decisive play, Mensah has 13 game-winning goals in his career, emphasizing his ability to perform under pressure.

During the 2024 season, Mensah cemented his place among the league’s elite, finishing fourth in goals scored (9), fourth in penalty conversions (2), and ninth in shots on target per 90 minutes (1.20). His standout performances earned him the USL League One Player of the Month award in April 2024, thanks to five goal involvements during that month alone.

Mensah becomes Greenville’s first new addition ahead of the 2025 season, joining nine returning players as the team strengthens its attacking lineup.

Greenville Triumph SC, based in South Carolina, has competed in USL League One since its inaugural season in 2019, establishing itself as a competitive force in the league.
