Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo delivered another standout performance on Sunday, December 22, 2024, as he netted his fifth Premier League goal of the season during their emphatic victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Ghanaian international found the back of the net in the 63rd minute, capping off a well-worked team move to extend Bournemouth’s lead to 3-0. Semenyo initiated the attack before Ouattara Dango burst down the left wing and delivered a precise cutback. Semenyo latched onto the pass and unleashed a low strike past André Onana from close range.
This latest goal adds Manchester United to a growing list of teams Semenyo has scored against this season, including Manchester City, Southampton, Everton, and Nottingham Forest.
Bournemouth opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Dean Huijsen. Ryan Christie curled in a well-placed free-kick from the right flank, and Huijsen rose above the defense to power a header beyond Onana.
The Cherries doubled their advantage in the second half when Justin Kluivert calmly converted a penalty after Bournemouth were awarded a spot-kick. The commanding performance saw Bournemouth secure a memorable win in front of a stunned Old Trafford crowd.
