Zubairu Ibrahim continued his impressive run in the Serbian Super League with another standout performance for Partizan, strengthening his case for a potential Black Stars call-up.
The Ghanaian forward was on the scoresheet in Partizan’s commanding 4-1 victory over Tekstilac Odzaci in round 26 of the league campaign. Nemanja Nikolic netted twice, while Bibras Natcho also found the back of the net to secure all three points. Petar Barac grabbed the only goal for the visitors.
With this win, Partizan remains firmly in second place with 53 points. Ibrahim has been in fine form throughout the season, scoring nine goals in 23 appearances, making him one of Ghana’s standout performers in Europe.
His consistent displays could earn him a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March 2025. The Black Stars are set to face Chad and Madagascar in crucial matches as they push for a spot in the tournament.
Given his current form, Ibrahim could be a key asset for Otto Addo’s squad in their quest for qualification.
