Italian-born Ghanaian forward Martin Boakye has joined Turkish second division side Boluspor on a one-year deal.
The 30-year-old arrives as a free agent after leaving Thai champions Buriram United, where he helped the club win the league title, ASEAN Club Championship, Thailand Cup, and Thailand League Cup.
Boakye has enjoyed a diverse career, playing in Austria, Luxembourg, Croatia, Uzbekistan, China, and Thailand. His European experience includes spells with Kitzbühel and Hohenems, while he has also featured for Jeunesse Esch, Slaven Belupo, Andijon, AGMK, and Qingdao Hainiu.
With his Ghanaian heritage, Boakye remains eligible to represent the Black Stars at the international level. He is expected to bring experience and firepower to Boluspor’s attack in the 2025/26 season.
