Ghana international Frank Acheampong delivered another impressive display to inspire Henan FC to a commanding 4-0 victory over Dalian Yingbo in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
The former Black Stars winger started the game and lasted the full 90 minutes at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium, capping his performance with a well-taken goal that sealed the win before halftime.
Henan took control early, opening the scoring after just nine minutes through Felippe Cardoso. Lucas Maia then struck twice in the 31st and 41st minutes to give the hosts a comfortable lead. Acheampong added his name to the scoresheet before the break, putting the result beyond doubt.
The 31-year-old has been in outstanding form this season, netting 11 goals and providing three assists in 22 league appearances, underlining his importance to Henan’s campaign.
