Abdul Karim Zito and Prince Yaw Owusu of Asante Kotoko SC have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for breaking league rules.
The charges come after the Ghana Premier League match between Asante Kotoko SC and Bibiani Goldstars FC. According to the GFA, both officials are accused of breaching Article 12(1)(i) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019, which relates to misconduct.
The alleged incident happened during or after the match, prompting the GFA to take disciplinary action. The case will be handled by the GFA Disciplinary Committee in line with the regulations.
Abdul Karim Zito and Prince Yaw Owusu are expected to respond to the charges within the period stated by the GFA. If found guilty, they could face penalties such as fines or suspensions.
