Seidu Surah and Suweidu Sulemana were on target as Dreams FC and Nations FC settled for a 1-1 draw in Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Dreams FC rescued a valuable point late in the game after Nations FC looked set to secure victory at home.
The first half saw Nations FC create the better chances, with Emmanuel Annor forcing a strong save from the Dreams goalkeeper. Joseph Effah also came close after connecting with a fine pass from Mac-Williams Boateng, but he failed to convert.
Just moments after the restart, Nations FC broke the deadlock. Suweidu Sulemana finished off a well-worked move to give the hosts the lead and lift the home fans.
However, the advantage lasted only ten minutes. Seidu Surah, a former Hearts of Oak player, found the equaliser for Dreams FC to restore parity.
Coach Winfred Dormon made tactical changes, including the introduction of Joseph Nermoden, as Dreams pushed for a result. Their persistence paid off when Surah struck late to ensure both sides shared the spoils.
The draw leaves both teams with work to do as the season heads into a decisive stage.
