Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman scored a brilliant volley for PAOK Thessaloniki as his side thrashed Kifisia to go top of the table after matchday 23.

The talented left-back met a floating ball from the right before meeting it with a ferocious left foot strike to extend PAOK’s lead with two minutes remaining. The strike was his second of the campaign in the league.

Meanwhile, in the thrilling encounter at the Neapolis Piraeus Municipal Stadium, the visitors were forced into a quick substitution after Giorgos Giakoumakis was replaced by Alexander Jeremejeff.

Jeremejeff needed only seven minutes to break the deadlock, giving PAOK the lead in the 32nd minute.

The hosts levelled on the hour mark through Konstanstinos Roukounakis before Jeremejeff added his second to hand PAOK the advantage for the second time in the game.

Baba Rahman then placed the game beyond the home side with a powerful volley before Giannis Konstatelias completed victory with an injury time goal.

The victory lifts PAOK to the top of the table with a positive goal advantage over main rivals Olympiacos.

Ghana 🇬🇭 left-back Abdul Baba Rahman fired a left-footed strike from outside the box into the top centre of the goal.
