Medeama SC have loaned striker Abdul Rahman Mohammed to Ethiopian club Arba Minch Kenema after signing him during the second round of the Ghanaian football season.
The Tarkwa-based club decided to send the forward on loan to the Ethiopian side to allow him gain more playing time and further develop his attacking abilities.
Abdul Rahman Mohammed joined Medeama in the second half of the campaign but has now been given the opportunity to continue his development outside Ghana as part of the club’s player development strategy.
The move will see the striker spend time with Arba Minch Kenema in Ethiopia’s top-flight league, where he is expected to gain valuable match experience and sharpen his goal-scoring instincts.
Officials of Medeama believe the loan arrangement will help the young attacker improve his performance level and return to the club stronger in the future.
The Western Region club continues to use loan opportunities as a way of giving some of their players regular competitive football while strengthening relationships with clubs across Africa.
Abdul Rahman Mohammed will now aim to make a strong impression at Arba Minch Kenema as he begins a new chapter in his career in Ethiopian football.
