Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was on target on Tuesday night, helping his Leicester City side to secure an important 2-0 victory over Bristol City in the English Championship.
The forward has been a key man for the Foxes in the 2025/26 league campaign and continues to deliver for the side.
Issahaku started for Leicester City in their Round 37 fixture in the English Championship played at the King Power Stadium.
On the matchday, the hosts had a bright start and took the lead after just 13 minutes of the first half. Benjamin Nelson equalised after he was assisted by Jordan James.
Later in the 28th minute, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku latched onto a loose ball at the far post and fired an unstoppable shot with his weak right foot. The ball went through the goalkeeper and into the back of the net to double the lead for Leicester City.
Despite a spirited fight from Bristol City in the second half, the team could not respond as a penalty awarded to the side in the 65th minute was squandered by Emil Riis.
The win keeps Leicester City above the relegation zone of the English Championship standings, heading into the last nine matches of the season.
His goal in the game now, takes his tally to nine and also has seven assists so far this campaign.
