Three players from Asante Kotoko SC have been included in the latest Black Galaxies squad for a camping exercise in Accra, as preparations begin for upcoming national team assignments.
Defender Patrick Aseidu, midfielder Hubert Gyau, and forward Albert Amoah are among the 32 home-based players invited to camp, which officially commenced on Monday, April 20.
The trio’s inclusion reflects their growing importance at Kotoko, with each player making notable contributions in the ongoing domestic season.
Their call-up also highlights the club’s continued influence in supplying talent to the national team at the local level.The camping exercise, taking place in Accra, is designed to help the technical team closely monitor players and expand its pool of talent.
As part of the programme, the squad will undergo training sessions and is expected to play at least one friendly match.The initiative by the Ghana Football Association aims to strengthen the Black Galaxies by building a solid base of locally-based players who can compete at the highest level.
With competition for places intensifying, the Kotoko players will be keen to impress and cement their spots in the team ahead of future assignments.
