Manchester City FC forward Antoine Semenyo has spoken glowingly about teammate Erling Haaland, revealing that he is already improving his game significantly by training alongside the Norwegian goal machine.
Semenyo, who joined City during the January transfer window from AFC Bournemouth, has made an immediate impact at the Etihad Stadium. The Ghana international has scored eight goals and provided three assists across all competitions, quickly establishing himself as an important attacking option in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Speaking on the All Out Football podcast, the 26-year-old praised Haaland’s professionalism and goal-scoring instincts, describing him as a key influence on his development.
“He’s amazing… a top goalscorer. I learn a lot from him — movement, finishing — I’m adding it to my game,” Semenyo said.
The Ghanaian forward has also already experienced success at City, celebrating his first trophy after the club defeated Arsenal to win the Carabao Cup.
Semenyo is expected to feature in Manchester City’s upcoming Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor, where a victory would send Guardiola’s side to the top of the table with 70 points as the title race intensifies.
