Bibiani Gold Stars have set their sights on reclaiming the Ghana Premier League title ahead of the 2026/27 season, with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kwasi Adu declaring that winning the championship remains the club’s main objective.
The new Ghana Premier League campaign is scheduled to kick off from September 4–7, 2026, and conclude on the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
Gold Stars will begin their campaign away from home against Bechem United as they embark on their mission to return to the top of Ghanaian football.
After narrowly missing out on last season’s league title to Medeama SC, the Bibiani-based club remains determined to mount another strong challenge and compete for the ultimate prize.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, CEO Akwasi Adu expressed confidence in the team’s ability to fight for the league trophy, insisting that championship success is the club’s priority for the upcoming season.
“We’re targeting winning the Ghana Premier League title this season,” Akwasi Adu said.
Gold Stars made history two seasons ago when they won their first-ever Ghana Premier League title under head coach Frimpong Manso, establishing themselves as one of the country’s emerging football forces.
The club will now look to build on that achievement by strengthening the squad and returning to the summit of Ghanaian football.
With renewed ambition and a clear target, Gold Stars are expected to enter the 2026/27 season determined to challenge the league’s top contenders and reclaim the crown they previously lifted.
