Midfielder Samuel Tenedu has opened up on his decision to join Aduana FC, revealing that the club’s ambition and long-term vision were major factors behind his move ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The experienced midfielder has completed a permanent transfer to the Dormaa-based club from Berekum Chelsea as the Ogya Boys continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Tenedu arrives at Aduana FC with valuable top-flight experience, having previously featured for Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea. His knowledge of the demands and intensity of the Ghana Premier League is expected to make him an important addition to Aduana’s midfield.
Speaking after his unveiling, the midfielder explained that conversations with the club’s technical team and management convinced him that Aduana was the right destination for the next stage of his career.
“I’m delighted to join Aduana FC. It’s a club I’ve always admired. After meeting with the coach and the club’s management, I was impressed by the vision and project they presented, which played a key role in my decision to sign,” Tenedu said.
Known for his composure, versatility and ability to dictate the rhythm of games, the midfielder is expected to add leadership, creativity and stability to Aduana’s engine room.
His arrival forms part of the club’s plans to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours after making several strategic additions ahead of the upcoming season.
Tenedu has already accumulated 64 Ghana Premier League appearances during his spells with Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, and he will now look to bring his experience to Aduana FC as the club aims for a successful campaign.
