The Ghanaian forward showed his quality on the European stage, producing the kind of decisive finishing and attacking instinct that has defined parts of his career. His latest contribution has raised an important question among Ghana football followers: Does Emmanuel Boateng still deserve to be considered for the Black Stars moving forward?

Eight years ago, during his time with Levante in La Liga, Boateng produced one of the most unforgettable performances by a Ghanaian player in Spanish football history.
