Cheltenham Town have added English-Ghanaian forward Kirsten Otchere on a season-long loan from Leicester City.
The move gives the Robins another attacking option as they prepare for the 2026/27 campaign, while Otchere gets a chance to build valuable senior experience.
The 2026/27 season is set to be an important one for the young striker, who has worked his way through Leicester’s academy and now arrives with momentum after a lively pre-season. Last season, he scored nine goals and set up three more in 16 Premier League 2 appearances, while also adding three goals and two assists in cup matches.
Otchere has already shown signs of sharp form this summer, featuring four times for Leicester’s first team in pre-season and scoring against Bristol Rovers, Burton Albion and Cádiz. He also registered two assists against Northampton Town.
Cheltenham manager Steve Cotterill believes the forward has the right mix of hunger and talent to develop at the club. Otchere, meanwhile, said he is delighted to make the move and is eager to get started.
