Young Apostles are reportedly pushing for the signing of former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Benjamin Twum as the club looks to strengthen its goalkeeping department.
Twum previously played for Young Apostles before joining Asante Kotoko in December 2024 on a three-year deal. He had attracted attention with his performances for the Wenchi-based side before making the move to the Porcupine Warriors.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper has since remained on Kotoko’s books, with his return to Young Apostles now reportedly being considered as the club seeks to bring back a goalkeeper familiar with its setup.
Twum’s earlier spell at Young Apostles helped establish him as one of the promising young goalkeepers in Ghanaian football, and a potential return could provide the club with a familiar option between the posts.
However, any move would depend on negotiations with Asante Kotoko and the terms surrounding the goalkeeper’s current contract.
