Asante Kotoko technical director Stanley Menzo has assured the club’s supporters that the Porcupine Warriors will give everything to meet expectations during the 2026/27 season.
Menzo made the pledge after the club’s board visited the team’s pre-season camp in Accra as preparations intensify for the new campaign.
Kotoko began their pre-season at the Adako Jachie Training Grounds in Kumasi, where the technical team focused on physical conditioning, assessing trialists and evaluating the squad.
The team has since moved to Accra for the tactical phase of preparations, with the coaching staff working on improving coordination, team chemistry and tactical understanding.
According to Menzo, everyone within the technical setup is fully committed to delivering for the club and its supporters.
“We can only say that we will go with all our heart, with all our pride, to fulfil the needs of the club and the fans, as far as we can go.”
The technical director also stressed the importance of teamwork as Kotoko continue preparations for what promises to be a demanding campaign.
“We are working hard with the staff and the players, and that’s what we can promise.”
The Porcupine Warriors have 15 days to fine-tune their preparations before returning to Kumasi for the third edition of the Democracy Cup, where they will face arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.
The high-profile fixture will serve as an important test of Kotoko’s progress ahead of the start of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
