The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to hold its 32nd Ordinary Congress today, Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The annual congress is scheduled to commence at 9:00am and will bring together GFA members and key stakeholders to deliberate on important matters concerning the administration and development of football in Ghana.
Delegates are expected to take stock of the 2025/26 football season, with discussions likely to cover the organisation of competitions, performances in the various leagues and other significant developments within the sport.
The gathering will also allow members to examine challenges that emerged during the past season and consider possible measures to strengthen the management, organisation and overall development of Ghana football.
As preparations intensify for the 2026/27 season, the Congress is expected to turn its attention to the upcoming campaign, including competition arrangements, player development, officiating and other key issues requiring attention.
The meeting is therefore expected to provide an important platform for stakeholders to assess the progress of Ghana football while setting priorities for the new season.
