Mohammed Kudus has returned to action for Tottenham Hotspur after a seven-month injury lay-off, featuring in their 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday.
Kudus came on in the 68th minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Newcastle secured victory through goals from Anthony Elanga and Yoane Wissa.
The 26-year-old midfielder had been sidelined since January after picking up an injury against Sunderland, with a relapse in April further delaying his recovery.
His return marks an important step in his rehabilitation, having missed 237 days and 25 matches for Tottenham in all competitions.
Kudus will now be hoping to regain full fitness and match sharpness as Tottenham continue their campaign, while his return also provides a timely boost for Ghana ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Black Stars are scheduled to face Ivory Coast in Bouake on September 24 before hosting Gambia in Accra three days later.
