Ghanaian winger Joseph Opoku scored his second goal for Swansea City as they secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Derby County in the Championship on Saturday.
Opoku opened the scoring just two minutes into the game at Pride Park, calmly finishing after Eom Ji-Sung sent him through following a quick counter-attack.
The early goal gave Swansea confidence, with Ji-Sung doubling their advantage shortly before half-time.
Opoku, however, was forced off in the 24th minute after picking up an injury.
Despite his early departure, Swansea remained in control and added a third goal through Ronald Pereira in stoppage time to complete a dominant away victory.
The result gives Opoku another positive moment in his early Swansea career, although attention will now turn to the extent of the injury he suffered.
Swansea will return to action against Watford on September 1.
