Real Madrid have opened advanced negotiations to sign Ghanaian midfielder Latif Issman from Spanish side CD Logroñés, according to reports from El Chiringuito TV.
The Spanish giants have reportedly identified the 19-year-old as a promising addition for Real Madrid Castilla, with discussions between the clubs now at an advanced stage.
Issman has emerged as one of the exciting young talents at Logroñés after making the step up to the senior side. His performances have attracted interest from several clubs, but Real Madrid have now moved to the front of the race for his signature.
Reports indicate that Issman has a €500,000 release clause, although Real Madrid and Logroñés are understood to be working towards an agreement rather than simply triggering the clause.
The potential move would represent a major opportunity for the Ghanaian youngster, who could continue his development within one of the most prestigious football structures in the world.
Real Madrid have increasingly focused on recruiting young talents with the potential to develop into future first-team players, and Issman could now become the latest prospect to join that pathway.
For Logroñés, his possible departure would represent the loss of one of their most highly regarded young players. The club are reportedly exploring ways to retain him, including a potential arrangement that could allow Issman to remain in Logroño for the season.
For now, negotiations remain ongoing.
But with Real Madrid pushing to reach an agreement, Latif Issman’s future could soon take him from Logroñés to the Spanish capital and the famous Castilla setup.
