Tottenham Hotspur head coach Roberto De Zerbi has praised Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus following his cameo appearance against Nottingham Forest.
De Zerbi revealed that Kudus and Andy Robertson performed strongly after coming on, although he felt making two substitutions around the 60-minute mark may not have been the best decision for the team.
The Tottenham boss explained that the medical team had recommended changes involving Savio and Destiny Udogie, leading to Kudus being introduced during the second half.
Despite having limited time on the pitch, Kudus made a positive impression, with De Zerbi specifically highlighting his performance.
The Ghana international continues to build his rhythm as he looks to establish himself as an important figure in Tottenham’s attacking setup.
