The captains are expected to play a crucial role throughout the season, providing leadership, motivation and discipline as their respective clubs battle for points, continental places and survival.
Hearts of Oak will be led by Benjamin Asare, while defending champions Gold Stars have Gideon Anaba as their captain.
Asante Kotoko have named Lord Amoah to lead the Porcupine Warriors, with Yussif Mubarik wearing the captain’s armband for Medeama.
Newly promoted Swedru All Blacks will be captained by Kweku Asuandzie Baffoe, while Prince Anane will lead Berekum Chelsea.
At Aduana FC, the leadership responsibility falls on Alex Boakye, with Moses Author captaining Basake Holy Stars.
Port City have entrusted the armband to Hamza Zakar, while Emmanuel Adu Siaw will lead FC Samartex.
Karela United will be captained by Fatawu Mohammed, with Labaran Majeed Alidu leading Vision FC.
Bechem United will look to Augustine Okrah for leadership, while Ramzy Abuakar will captain Young Apostles.
Debibi United will be led by Bariu Sule, as the club prepares to compete among Ghana’s top-flight sides.
At FC Ashantigold, Justice Blay will wear the captain’s armband, while Ishmael Addo has been entrusted with the leadership role at Heart of Lions.
