Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor has assured supporters of a better performance when the Phobians face Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
Hearts started the season strongly with back-to-back victories but have struggled in their last two matches, recording disappointing results and failing to maintain their early momentum.
Ahead of the Week 5 fixture, Kapor revealed that his team has analysed its recent shortcomings, particularly after the defeat to Karela United, and has worked on correcting those mistakes.
“We started the season very well in the first two games. But in the last two games we have struggled in several aspects. We lost plenty of balls, and we were not supporting our attackers with quality passes.”
“We have watched all these things, and we have worked on them.”
The Serbian coach said he is encouraged by the reaction of his players in training and believes they can produce a stronger performance in their next outing.
“I’m very positive because of the reaction of the players, and I’m sure we will put up a good and better performance in our next game.”
Hearts of Oak will host Dreams FC in a Ghana Premier League Week 5 encounter on Saturday, October 3, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
