FC Samartex head coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has been named the NASCO Coach of the Month for September in the Ghana Premier League after guiding his side through an unbeaten run during the month.
Agyemang earned the recognition after leading Samartex to two victories and two draws in four league matches, demonstrating consistency and tactical discipline as his team continued its campaign in the 2026/27 season.
One of the highlights of Samartex’s impressive run was an important away victory over Aduana FC, a result that further strengthened the team’s performances during the period under review.
Samartex scored six goals and conceded three across the four matches, recording a positive return that contributed to Agyemang’s selection for the monthly award.
The award recognises the coach’s contribution to the team’s performances and his ability to guide the players to consistent results throughout September.
As part of the prize package, Agyemang will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO chest freezer. The items are being provided by Electroland Ghana Limited, the sponsors associated with the monthly award.
The Ghana Football Association’s Communications Department announced the winner, confirming Agyemang’s achievement following Samartex’s strong performances during the month.
The recognition represents a boost for the Samartex coach as he continues to lead the club in the Ghana Premier League, where maintaining consistency across successive matches remains crucial to a successful campaign.
With the September award secured, Agyemang will hope his side can build on the unbeaten run and maintain its competitive form as the league progresses.
