Debibi United will be hoping to end their three-match winless run when they host Bibiani Gold Stars at the Debibi Presby Park on Sunday, October 18, in Matchday Seven of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.
The Premier League newcomers have endured a difficult start to life in the top flight, managing just one win, one draw and four defeats from their opening six matches.
Head coach Isaac Nii Armah and his players will be under pressure to deliver a positive result as they seek to revive their campaign and improve their chances of avoiding relegation.
A victory on Sunday could provide the much-needed boost for the Oziii Ozaaa boys, who are eager to make home advantage count against the visiting side.
However, Debibi United face a Bibiani Gold Stars team that will arrive with renewed confidence after recording a comfortable home victory over Basake Holy Stars last weekend.
The win helped the Miners move out of the relegation zone, giving them an opportunity to build momentum as they seek greater consistency in the ongoing campaign.
Gold Stars will be determined to carry that positive form into Sunday’s encounter, although they must remain cautious against a Debibi United side desperate to secure maximum points before their home supporters.
With both teams seeking valuable points for different reasons, the match is expected to be a competitive contest. Debibi United will aim to use home advantage to end their poor run, while Gold Stars will be looking to secure another victory and strengthen their position in the league.
