Ghana’s U23 team the Black Meteors have arrived in Egypt safely on Monday evening ahead of the U23 AFCON Tournament.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges left Ghana around 13:30GMT for Egypt on Tuesday for the tournament which runs from 8-22 November, 2019.

The team arrived at the Cairo International Airport around 20:30GMT.
Ghana Football Association, President Kurt, and some members of the Executive Council were at the Kotoka International Airport to bid farewell to the team who are poised to make history in Egypt.

Ghana open their campaign against Cameroon on the opening day before facing Egypt and Mali on 11 and 14 November respectively.
They will be eyeing one of the three slots to book qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
