Legon Cities FC shot stopper, Sylvester Sackey was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s defeat to Karela United FC on Sunday afternoon in Anyinase.
The former Tarkwa Barcelona FC goalkeeper was the man between the posts for his team as they lost 2-0 on the road after three games winning streak.
Sackey was in a dazzling form for the Royals and made several saves to deny the home team to run riot on the day.
Despite conceding two goals, the shot stopper was named the Most Valuable Player of the match following his exploits which prevented his team from being whitewashed at the CAM Park.
The 24-year-old at the beginning of the season was the third choice goalie but has worked his way up to take the post in the last five matches.
Umar Bashiru and Richard Berko got the two goals against Cities for Karela who moves to third on the league table after 29 games.
